Увеличение потребности в установке внутрисосудистого катетера обусловлено современными  требованиями  к проведению терапевтических, профилактических, диагностических и иных мероприятий.  Минимизация риска потенциально опасных для жизни инфекций, в том числе инфекций кровотока, связанных с внутрисосудистыми устройствами, а также сокращение случаев нозокомиальных инфекций следует считать приоритетным  направлением  комплексной работы по улучшению качества оказания медицинской  помощи населению.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The problem of bloodstream infections associated with intravascular devices, is currently still relevant. The increase in demand of installation of intravascular catheter is caused by requirements for therapeutic, prophylactic, diagnostic and other procedures.
