Ранее было показано, что КМ является иммуногенной опухолью, поэтому появление ингибиторов контрольных точек иммунного ответа изменило лечебные принципы больных распространенной КМ. В данной статье мы представляем первые результаты применения в России анти-PD–L1 антитела авелумаб в лечении больных метастатической и/или местно-распространенной КМ в рамках программы раннего доступа.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare and aggressive skin cancer with limited treatment options in later stages, when the mortality rate due to the disease is as high as 46 %. It has been demonstrated earlier that MCC is an immunogenic tumor, therefore the emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors has changed the treatment principles for patients with advanced MCC.
