В данной статье представлен обзор современной научной литературы, освещающей особенности тактики лечения метастатического рака молочной железы. Еще несколько десятилетий назад данный диагноз представлял серьезную проблему и ассоциировался с меньшей продолжительностью жизни пациентов. В настоящее время достижения в лечении, в том числе в лекарственной терапии, позволили существенно повлиять на течение заболевания и улучшить прогноз и качество жизни. Однако вопрос о рациональной тактике ведения таких больных по‑прежнему остается открытым.
