Одной из причин развития анемии является дефицит железа. Абсолютная или функциональная нехватка железа снижает эффективность применения рекомбинантного эритропоэтина, используемого для лечения анемии индуцированной химиотерапией. Многочисленные исследования показали, что внутривенные формы железа, в отличие от пероральных, эффективно восполняют дефицит железа необходимый для оптимального эритропоэза. Современные американские и европейские рекомендации (ESMO, NCCN) по лечению анемии у онкологических больных включают обязательное использование внутривенных форм железа.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The problem of anemia in cancer patients is relevant and multilateral. One of the causes of anemia is iron deficiency. The absolute or functional iron deficiency reduces the efficiency of recombinant erythropoietin used for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced anemia. Numerous studies have shown that intravenous forms of iron, as opposed to oral, effectively replenish iron deficiency necessary for optimal erythropoiesis.
