Эффективность противоопухолевой терапии зависит не только от применения современных лекарственных препаратов, но и от оптимального выполнения запланированного лечения. Роль поддерживающей терапии в плане комплексного лечения онкологических пациентов с каждым годом приобретает все большую значимость. Коррекция токсичности, нормализация физического, функционального и психоэмоционального состояния пациента при проведении противоопухолевого лечения требует индивидуализированного подхода.

Основная идея разработки калькуляторов по коррекции токсичности и симптомов болезни, ухудшающих качество жизни, предполагала создание мини опросника по ключевым критериям, которые определяют выбор поддерживающей терапии для каждого конкретного пациента с учетом демографических и клинических особенностей.
