Рассмотрен механизм действия МЕК ингибиторов. Приведены результаты ряда современных клинических исследований с использованием МЕК ингибиторов, представлены данные их эффективности и токсичности. В обсуждении автором всесторонне проанализированы возможные причины их низкой эффективности у больных с различной онкопатологией, в том числе и с учетом наличия мутаций BRAF, KRAS, NRAS. Рассмотрены перспективы решения этой проблемы, также обоснован мультимодальный подход с использованием комбинированной таргетной терапии и цитостатиков.
