За последние 10 лет заболеваемость раком молочной железы (РМЖ) выросла на 32,5%, при этом с каждым годом растет число женщин, заболевших в более молодом возрасте. Одновременно увеличивается и число женщин, которые планируют беременность после 30-35 лет. Следовательно, можно ожидать, что сближение этих возрастных групп может привести в ближайшие годы к росту заболеваемости РМЖ у беременных и лактирующих женщин. Трудности диагностики объективного (увеличение объема и изменение консистенции молочных желез, осложнение лактации) и субъективного (психологическая «неготовность» к диагнозу злокачественной опухоли и у больной, и у врача) характера приводят к позднему выявлению опухоли у беременных женщин; лечение начинается при более распространенных стадиях болезни, чем в общей популяции пациентов. В лекции рассматриваются вопросы диагностики и лечения этой категории больных.
